Craig is the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for Waccamaw Transport, a position he has successfully managed since 1996. Within the petroleum industry, Craig has earned the utmost respect from his peers due to his long-time commitment and personal achievements. He began by, joining the family business at Morehead Oil in Newberry, SC where he made customer deliveries driving a short truck and performed various duties related to their bulk plant activities.
While attending The Citadel, Craig played varsity football for the Bulldogs along and was an officer in the corps of cadets. After graduating with a BS in Business Administration, he married Trudy, and returned to work with the family petroleum business on a full-time basis.
Craig served as President in the SC Petroleum Marketers Association. Soon afterwards, he was promoted to Executive Director to manage the Association’s business activities. In 1993, Craig was hired as Executive Director of the NC Petroleum Marketers Association, replacing Don Ward who served the association for forty-three years. Craig held this position until 1996 when he accepted an opportunity to become Director of Sales for Waccamaw Transport.
Craig enjoys attending sporting events with his family and friends and especially finds joy in being a grandfather. He is active within his church and is still trying to find time to complete some of his long standing “home projects.”
