John has been driving since 1982. Throughout his career, he has hauled goods through all of the lower 48 states and Canada. He owned and operated his own business from 1993 to 1999. John began working for Waccamaw Transport in 2004. Since then, John has been the recipient of multiple awards including the Rogers H Clark Million Mile Award in 2017 and NCTA Driver of the Month in August 2017. After years of hard work, John was promoted to Field Safety Manager in June 2018. When he is not working, John enjoys boating and spending time with his grandchildren.
