Jonathan was first hired as a driver by Waccamaw Transport in 2006 until being promoted to a dispatch role. Due to his excellent performance, he was promoted to Dispatch Manager, and in 2013, he was promoted again into the Sales, Marketing, & Business Development group. In 2015 he officially became Director of Operations and Safety Manager, where he excels at the rigors of his job and is highly respected by customers and employees alike.
After completing his education at Johnston County Schools, Jonathan developed a desire to apply his talents towards future administrative duties and attended Wayne Community College. He became a truck owner/operator for approximately ten years hauling various types of cargo throughout the U.S. east coast region.
Jonathan is very active in events with his church and has a special affinity for their Awanas program which focuses on making lessons both informative and fun. Additional interests include hunting, fishing, and attending and supporting his children at sports events.
